Connect Slack
Connect Slack and approvals come to you: a direct message the moment a request reaches you, and an app home that lists everything still waiting for your answer.
Connect your account
- Open the account menu and go to “Settings”.
- In the Slack card, select “Connect Slack”.
- Approve the app in your Slack workspace. The first person to do this installs it for everyone.
After that, each colleague connects their own account the same way — or straight from Slack, where the ApproveHub app home offers “Connect ApproveHub”. Nothing is sent to anyone who has not connected.
What arrives in Slack
Slack carries the same messages as email, as direct messages from the app:
- It is your turn — a request has reached a stage you approve, with a link that opens it.
- It has been decided — a request you sent was approved or declined.
The app home is the standing view: everything waiting for your approval in one list. Administrators also see the state of their organizations’ plans there, with a link straight to billing.
Disconnect
“Disconnect” in the same Slack card unlinks your account and stops the messages. Your requests, approvals and history are untouched, and you can connect again whenever you like.
